      Meredith Perkins
 		 
       
 
  Mr. Perkins was appointed to the board on September 16, 2008 on the recommendation of Supervisor Don Knabe, Fourth Supervisorial District.  He is the former Mayor of Downey and a retired Sales Manager.  Mr. Perkins served 8 years as an elected official on the Downey City Council.  His professional affiliations include service on the Downey Planning Commission, Downey Junior Athletic Association, YMCA, and the Boys Scouts.
